Spending Christmas and New Year at home has meant spending time with mom and dad's new dog, Bella. She's a cross breed but very sweet and a bit nervous of new things and loud noises! So taking photos of Bella in the garden proved a challenge as she ran and hid from the shutter sound and me!

Tom McNair- a Busker in Bath

University work has kept me busy and away from my camera over the last few weeks but finally, thanks to university work, I was able to pick up my camera and enjoy the freedom of photography.

This time it was for a documentary film project. We were asked to go out and make a character study. Our group chose Tom McNair, a busker in Bath. I kept my long lens on for these photos so the public didn't get spooked by film and photography crew (Tom McNair's request). But that allowed me to get some close up shots that really worked.

The editing has taken a few days mainly because my computer is so slow but finally I have finished them. There is a mix of black and white, colour and sepia shots because I tried a few different editing options just to see what it would all look like.

Lost Photos

Please bare with me as I reload all the photos on this blog. I did something stupid and most or all of the photos disappeared. It will take a while but in the meantime, enjoy the brilliance that is Simon's Cat:

Church BBQ

Last weekend my church had a BBQ after the sunday morning service. I decided to get my camera out and take a few photos. Some of these will appear on the church website in the near future.

Robin and Robyn Wedding

My cousin, Robin, got married a few weeks ago and I was lucky enough to get some good shots. This is the first wedding I've been to with my DSLR.

Due to an accident on the M25 we arrived late but were just in time to see Robin and Robyn coming back down the isle.
